Falling Out Of Time

Made for the Last Days Of Summer Contest. Good luck to all the other entries they look really good.
Theme: Final Days of Summer
Summer is almost gone, soon the leaves will change, so will the weather, and fall will appear. It’s up to YOU, the artist, to decide where some of your favorite characters will be spending their last days of summer! Whether they make a dash for the beach, or whether they chill in their living room with their closest friends, it’s up to you to make sure that they have the greatest few days left before it’s off to whatever their next destination may be!

For my entry I wanted to capture the cut scene on the 4th day in Kingdom Hearts 2 before Roxas' summer vacation ends where he slips and falls over the clock tower to what appears to be an imminent death before the screen fuzzes out to static.
If you haven't played this game before then you can probably guess already that Roxas doesn't spend his last days of summer as he would wish....

Overall I was quite happy with how it came out. I got some practice with perspective by figuring out the background and I got to experiment around with Photoshop a lot in order to figure out how I could get it to look like a recording.
It kinda makes sense that Twilight Town does have a bunch of cameras around all the place so that Diz could keep his eye on Roxas and the others for the time being and that's how he was able to freeze everything in the world and etc. I don't even know how Kingdom Hearts' physics work at all so that's my best guess.

I've always wanted to draw this scene cause I remember playing Kingdom Hearts 2 when I was kid I was always wondering how the hell did Roxas actually survive that fall.....
I guess sometimes I just shouldn't question video game physics...
After a while you just give up after Sora starts hitting skyscrapers back at Xemnas like it's no biggy....
Also.... submitting about 10 minutes just before the deadline FTW But it was worth it.
